Hidden Calibration Screen in Some Asus LCD Monitors
(10 posts)Is not documented that I can find BUT it works !!!!
Hold down Menu Button + Power for 7 seconds. Then let off for a few seconds and hold down the Menu Button until you see the special / hidden blue menu on the far left of the monitor.
Anyone know what ALL the settings mean ????
One can set them manually but not sure if there is a Factory Reset if one messes up !?!?!?
Any Documentation would be MOST HELPFUL.
Thanks for sharing,
Rick P.
Thanks LH.
Some of the settings like BURNIN ON/OFF are quite scary to me.
Appears that one could 'trash' their monitor IF
they don't take a picture of all the Settings FIRST.

http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/archive/index.php/t-1354753.html Seems like one of the options fixes ghosting
Yes that is a picture of what I am posting about.
My screen is Perfect with NO ghosting.
Just wondering what the tech screen is and how to use it if possible ??
Thanks warlock !!
As I stated, there is not any documentation on the net - Strange ??

That is all I could find without a model number just using Asus. But, if you google burn in as you mentioned there are some threads on that. It is burn in on various tv screens and monitors. Your monitor model might help in your searching. I know it is not important but inquiring minds..........
I have this one because of the LED Back Light plus other specs and low price.

I normally recommend (IPS) BUT the price goes up pretty fast and the response times are slower.
Monitors are like SSDs, you buy the ones you can afford and not the ones you dream about. (lol) (lol) :)
